DENVER - The Colorado State Patrol is asking for the public's help in finding a man wanted for the crash-related death of a young boy.
Authorities say on August 23, 41-year-old Manuel Nunez of Longmont was driving in Boulder County when he ran a red light, swerved to avoid cross traffic, and rolled his vehicle.
Several children inside the vehicle were unrestrained, including a 7-year-old boy who was partially ejected; he later died at Boulder Community Hospital.
Nunez is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. He's facing several charges including vehicular homicide and child abuse resulting in death.
Nunez is described as a Hispanic male, six feet tall, 268 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Officials are asking anyone who may know of Nunez's whereabouts to contact the Colorado State Patrol.
