There are more than 670 clubs within the region.

According to a past club president, accomplishing this kind of feat with 137 members is impressive in many ways. "We are really proud of the fact that out of our entire zone, a 14-state area, which includes some big states, including Texas, we were the No. 1 club," explained Bob Johnson.

The money raised by the Rotary Club goes toward projects throughout the world.

The next big fundraiser for the Grand Junction club is the annual fall event, known as Masquerade.
