Rocky Mountain Park Teams Look for Missing Texan

ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, Colo. (AP) - A search is under way in Rocky Mountain National Park for a Texas man who had come to Colorado for a conference.

Park officials say 39-year-old Troy Green of San Antonio had planned to attend a conference in Denver, about 65 miles south of the park. His wife notified Denver police when she didn't hear from him Thursday.

Green didn't arrive at the conference as planned Friday, but Rocky Mountain National Park rangers found a vehicle that matched his rental car at the park's Bear Lake parking lot early Friday.

Fourteen people and two Larimer County Search and Rescue dog teams suspended their search for Green on Friday night due to cold, wind and darkness, but they plan to start looking again early Saturday.
