Grand Junction Rockies MVP Returns

FRUITA, Colo.- A special visitor well known around Grand Junction came back Saturday to meet and sign autographs to his number one fans.

David Dahl, played for the Grand Junction Minor League Rockies team this past season.

Dahl was the MVP, hitting .379, which included a 27 game hitting streak.

He was back in Grand Junction signing autographs and talking with fans before returning to Scottsdale, Arizona to train and prepare for next season.

"It was really fun. It was a great place to start my career in Grand Junction. I had a blast, the fans were awesome. I stayed with a great host family, I couldn't ask for a better way to start my career," said Dahl.

Dahl says he is unsure of where he's going next but he thinks it will be in Asheville, North Carolina.
