Rock Jam Underage Drinking Citations Down

by KREX News Room

MACK, Colo.- The number of citations issued to underage drinkers at this year's Rock Jam concert fell.

As thousands celebrated the two-day rock festival, law enforcement was busy issuing citations to underage drinkers.

However, the numbers showed a downward trend since 2010, when 36 underage drinkers were cited. This year only 24 people were issued citations.

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office also made one DUI arrest at this year's Rock Jam. That's compared to 10 DUI arrests in 2010.
