Robbery Suspects Pleads Guilty

GRAND JUNCTION, COLO.- A man accused of robbing a local book store and attempting to rob Bank of the West and Weinerschnitzel pleads guilty in court.
Robert Buch, 56, pleaded guilty to 5 counts including 2 felonies Tuesday morning. In addition to felony robbery and attempted aggravated robbery, Buch pleaded guilty to 3 habitual criminal charges, relating to his criminal history.
According to the plea agreement, Buch is facing 28 to 40 years in prison with 3 years parole.
Court documents show Buch attempted to rob the Bank of the West and a Weinerschnitzel in November of 2012.
Buch also admitted to robbing the Once Upon a Time bookstore near Walmart in October 2012. Part of his plea agreement is to pay back $400 in restitution money to the bookstore.
His sentencing hearing is scheduled for December 4.
