GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Folks in Western Colorado are going wild for a new chain that's opening its doors Monday in Grand Junction, and for good reason. Buffalo Wild Wings is offering up free wings for a year to the first 100 people in line.

The new Buffalo Wild Wings is located at 2412 Highway 6 and 50 near the Mesa Mall and opens at 11:30 a.m.

The nationwide chain prides itself on its authentic, Buffalo-style chicken wings with more than a dozen signature sauces. The restaurant is also a sports bar with a full menu that includes salads, appetizers and burgers.

It's known for its relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. There are hundreds of locations nationwide in all but a few states, and starting Monday the Western Slope gets its first one in Grand Junction.

A line started forming outside the restaurant Saturday night, with a number folks camping out. They say free wings for a year is plenty of reason to rough it for a couple nights.

One person who lined up Sunday at 9 a.m. says it's worth the wait. "Here all day, all night, and maybe have my parents bring me some food later or hope someone stops by with some extra stuff to make it through the day," said Nathan Johnson.

Many of the people waiting are relying on technology to help them pass the time. Many folks have been playing games and music on their laptops.

As of Monday around 7 a.m., more than a hundred people had already lined up.

Their wings are great, but I wouldn't have camped out since Saturday.
