by Courtney Griffin

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-Residents who went to see a movie Saturday evening at the Regal Cinemas 14 on 648 Market Street, were asked to evacuate after the fire alarm went off just before 5 p.m.

Residents tell NewsChannel 5 that the sprinklers went off in the lobby, setting off the fire alarm.

Moviegoers could leave or wait around until another movie started back up.

Everyone who left got a free admission ticket for next time.

Firefighters were helping sweep out the water in the lobby.

What if some of them weren't residents? Maybe they were offended by being called "residents'. By P.C. standards someone owes someone an apology, maybe someday the news media will get the information right.
