DENVER- Colorado rafting companies are reporting significant losses.

Rafting businesses are reporting the lowest number of customers since 2002 and a 17 percent drop off in customers. That is the largest decline since 1990.

The Denver Post reports the Blue River in Summit County and the Eagle above Avon barely ran due to the drought inducing low snowpack upstream.

Other rivers, like the Cache la Poudre, were choked by wildfire.
