'The Price Is Right' Winner Enjoys Palisade

PALISADE, Colo.- One lucky woman won the grand prize on "The Price is Right," and she is now celebrating the package she won in Palisade.

A first grade teacher from Virginia had her dreams come true when she went on a girls' weekend in California to celebrate her daughter's college graduation. She applied to get on "The Price is Right." Little did she know she would turn out to be the big winner.

Terry Riddell won a grand prize package that takes her to Hawaii with a helicopter ride, in addition to a Ford Escape and a six-night stay at Palisade's very own Wine Country Inn.

Riddell is being driven by limousine to the many beautiful outdoor activities the Western Slope has to offer. She says she's ecstatic to be in Colorado. "Everybody's screaming and yelling at you, you can't see the stuff that well and you just can't think. It's crazy, I'd like to go to some wineries and taste some wine. I love wine so I'd love doing that,"
said Riddell.

The Wine Country Inn was contacted by associate producers of the show with an offer to be a part of the grand prize package.

The general manager of Wine Country Inn says they will participate again in the package next year.
