Potential Water Restrictions Ahead For Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.- Officials have introduced a proposal to restrict water usage this summer due to water shortages.

Some of the proposals include limiting watering to twice a week and increasing a water fees.

Water officials are reporting levels are down to levels not seen in over a decade.

Colorado Springs receives it's water from 25 different reservoirs around the state. These reservoirs are running at 65% full.
