GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- While Small Business Saturday was in action, one business owner said people should focus every day on shopping locally.

Oh My Dog Boutique and Grooming on North Avenue celebrates local businesses by holding nearly 24 other crafters and artists in her boutique.

The store offers animal pajamas, toilet seat covers and one-of-a-kind food dishes.

"People may stand in line on Black Friday to get the TV that may be made in a different country, but it doesn't really help the local economy," said Jennifer Schaffer, owner of Oh My Dog Boutique.

The business owner says with all the talent in the Grand Valley, she has high hopes for her unique business to succeed.

Dog grooming costs $25. Homemade treats are also available.
