Scott, I provided you with the facts, you just choose to try and use the tired Alewinski technique of trying to muddy them and then switch the subject to something else. It doesn't work anymore so I will clarify the facts for you. Fact #1. Barry supported a partial birth abortion procedure so horrible and macabre that not one other senator would favor it. Fact #2.When Barry realized that his position was unpopular, rather than stick with his position, he cowardly voted "present." Fact #3. I don't know how I could look at myself in the mirror if I had voted for someone who advocated such a hideous third-trimester abortion procedure. This is not a political thing, it is common human decency and yes, newborn babies can feel pain. Fact #4. I voted for the war hero and the businessman, so I am able to look myself in the mirror.

Disgusted, Given your track record on facts, I'll reserve judgment. You obviously can't admit when you're wrong. Me2, Lots of assertions, no support. And I'm sure you can only see the hypocrisy on those you disagree with. You might think about what that implies. Your own example is another area of hypocrisy on the conservative side. They want the government to dictate who someone can and can't love. But no "big government". Hilarious.

Scott, 88% of the women who get abortions have that CHOICE made "for" them by their parents, boy friends, husbands. Those "counslers" of PP who stand to gain financially from helping women make the CHOICE, are also participants in helping abortions take place. As far as legislating morality, your friends in the homosexual crowd are doing a huge number on the American people by getting the legislation they want. The steeper the slope the liberal crowd takes on the downhill slide, the shorter the steps become to bring about the destruction of this nation. I'm sure you are proud of yourselves. The only hipocrits I see are those liberals who run into destruction with their eyes wide open. They RUN down the ever steepening slope, and never, look where they are going.

Scott, again it or for it, only a gutless wonder would vote "present" rather than taking a stand. But the main thing is that his daughters weren't "punished with a baby." Correct?

Disgusted, So he was actually against the bill, rather than being the only one supporting it as you originally said. The facts are correct NOW. Me2, You're ascribing a position to me that I'm not defending. Not surprising, since you seem to paint all liberals with the same brush. And I not you didn't deny anything I said. You just tried to distract from it. Interesting.

Scott, do you realize who founded Planned Parenthood? Margaret Sanger. Her goal was to rid the world if undesirable peoples to her, namely minorities. I thought left-wingers were all about minorites? Who's the hipocrit now?

"On March 30, 2001, Obama was THE ONLY ILLINOIS SENATOR (emphasis added) who rose to speak against a bill that would have protected babies who survived late term labor-induced abortion. Obama rose to object that if the bill passed, and a nine-month-old fetus survived a late-term labor-induced abortion was deemed to be a person who had a right to live, then the law would "forbid abortions to take place." Obama further explained the equal protection clause of the Fourteenth Amendment does not allow somebody to kill a child, so if the law deemed a child who survived a late-term labor-induced abortion had a right to live, "then this would be an anti-abortion statute." Source, Obama Nation, J. Corsi p238 Aug 1st, 2001 from issues2000 dot org, the second entry in the search engine results! Nope Scott, the fact are correct, thanks for asking.

I think you might have a point about the 3d imaging. It would be wonderful if women would make the CHOICE not to have an abortion. Then people like you won't be trying to take that choice away from them. Funny how right wingers are all about keeping the government out of people's lives, but try to legislate morality. Seems hypocritical to me.

Since the 3-D ultrasound has come into being, the abortionists have lost a considerable amount of business. Women can no longer be lied to about the mass or glob of cells in their womb. They can see it is a baby that has a beating heart and looks like a human being. All planned parenthood did was kill babys for a profit, they made billions of dollars of taxpayers money. Millions of those dollars were funneled back into the coffers of the DNC while the democrat politicians proudly cried "pro choice". In other words, kill more babys, we like the money.
Scott said on Saturday, Feb 2 at 4:59 PM
Really? Not a single other senator? The only abortion bills I can find that senator Obama had anything to do with he voted against, including the partial-birth act. You wouldn't be getting your facts wrong, would you?

If anyone is surprised by this, your head is in the sand. Planned parenthood is an evil organization.
Disgusted said on Saturday, Feb 2 at 4:26 AM
Not really surprising as when lil Barry was busy not being a Senator for the state of Illinois he supported a partial-birth abortion bill that was so hideous not a single other Senator dared to support it! Funny how democrats are kind and compassionate and whine about the environment, but when it comes to unborn human babies, then the true colors shine through.
