Pit Bull Attacks Infant, Authorities Say
MESA COUNTY, Colo. - A dog attack left an infant recovering in the hospital Tuesday night. According to the Mesa County Sheriff's Department, around 7:30 p.m., a pit bull attacked an 8-month-old infant at 588 Ronlin St. Paramedics arrived on-scene shortly after and rushed the infant to St. Mary's Hospital with unspecified injuries. Mesa County Animal Control was dispatched to the incident and took the dog in without any problems, which had still been in the house up until that point.
