Pine Ridge Fire Fully Contained

MESA COUNTY, Colo.- Crews reached full containment of the Pine Ridge Fire on Wednesday.

The fire scorched nearly 14,000 acres and prompted evacuations in and around the De Beque area. On Thursday, crews will continue to patrol the area and conduct mop up work.

The crews handling the fury of nature are doing an incredible job. Hats off to Sheriff Hilkey.
