DELTA, Colo.- Delta police are still searching for the man accused of robbing the Petunia Beads store at gunpoint.

The robbery happened around noon on Tuesday.

The unidentified man reportedly walked into the business, displayed a handgun and then took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man is identified as a white male in his 20s, about 6 feet tall, and with short blond hair and light eyes.

Gregory Turner, co-owner of Petunia Beads, said, "He started looking at the items over at the window, and then he turned around and pulled out what looked like to me a nine-millimeter pistol ... demanded the money. I opened the register and gave him the money, and eventually he asked me to go into the bathroom and count to 50. I called the police from there in the bathroom, and then they came. Respond time was about maybe a minute."

The man was seen leaving in a late 80s to 90s white four-door car driven by a white female described as having red hair, a heavy build and in her 20s.

this man is a liar and has given many descriptions and stories regarding this supposed robbery from different hair color of robber to different time robbery occurred. within days of said robbery he embezzled cash from tenants in the 201 Ute St building & from building owner and conveniently moved to a different location in Delta and had plenty of $$$ to pay his rent & deposit. This man is a thief & very dishonest beware...

Anonymous hit it on the head. Very dishonest. Turner seems to make the news on a regular basis. Maybe someone needs to do some background checking on him...just saying....
