GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- A woman is struck by an oncoming vehicle on North Avenue.

According to Grand Junction Police, around 6:45 Wednesday evening, a woman was crossing North Avenue from the Walmart towards Hooters, when she walked into traffic and was struck by a Subaru Legacy heading westbound.

Although she was walking near the crosswalk, authorities say westbound traffic had a green light.
