STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo.- Wildlife officers had to ask firefighters in Steamboat Springs to help get a black bear out of a tree, after a tranquilizer caused it to fall asleep and get stuck.

They expected the bear would fall out of the tree after it was tranquilized, but after being shot the animal just moved farther up and passed out.

The bear was taken to the Division of Parks and Wildlife office and will be relocated out of the city.
