Parks and Wildlife Offering Spanish Hunter Education Course

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Colorado Parks and Wildlife is trying to reach the Hispanic population with a Spanish language hunter education course in July.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials say they want to better serve prospective hunters who are more comfortable learning in Spanish.

The course covers firearm safety, ethics, survival tips, wildlife identification and management.

The course will take place July 7 and 8 at Colorado Parks and Wildlife's Hunter Safety Complex located at 711 Independent Ave.
The cost is $7 per person.
