GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The 31st annual Parade of Homes kicked off Friday, with eight homes on display throughout the Grand Valley.

Each home is individually crafted with unique architecture and interior design.

Event organizers say it's the perfect way to gather home decorating inspiration.

Twelve judges went through each house and handed out awards for best kitchen, best bedroom and best landscaping.

Some homes were built with a primary focus on saving energy.

The homes will be featured over the next two weekends from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Tickets are $10 per person and are available at any City Market location.
