Pack Your Lunch, Donate Money on Brown Bag Day

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- If you eat lunch out every day, you might want to consider packing a lunch for one day and putting that money toward a good cause.

Mesa County residents are encouraged to "brown bag it" and put kids first on Thursday, Sept. 27.

Event organizers ask that the money you would have spent eating out be donated to Kids Aid and The House, two local programs that help children in need.

For folks who just don't have the resources to bring lunch from home, some local businesses are taking part in this effort by offering brown bag specials.

Funds raised from their specials will be donated to "Putting Kids 1st."

The participating restaurants are Qdoba, Papa Kelsey's, Kannah Creek Brewing Company, Papa John's Pizza, Applebees and Wraps on Main.

I will be eating lunch from a brown bag as usual to donate money to the favorite causes of the left-wing haters that are destroying this country, most notably the federal government, the state government, and the local cabal of the good ol boys network that pretends it is a governing organization. Will also be saving money for the hyper-inflation and collapse that is just around the corner. We have seen how they "put kids first" by saddling our children and grand children with a debt that can never be repaid.
