GOOD ! New info I was unaware of the woman Dutch bit was his former owner, that just proves more to me that Dutch was beaten by her and he was reacting in self defense/protection. The Judge needs to hold his order and the ACO nedds to be let go from his position.

When an animal is wounded, they are KNOWN to bite. This animal had just been in a fight, had been pummeled by this woman to stop the fight, then immediately she tries to tend to the wound. That is just stupid. Unless the animal is bleeding to death, you separate them, let them calm down, then treat any wounds. I would never turn my animals over either.

If a judge ordered my dog put down the story would be how the dog ran away. Reality would be my dog being well cared for out of state and me ready to do jail or fines to save him.

It doesn't need to be out of state. I know I'm among good company when I say dozens of households around the Grand Valley would be willing to take Dutch in and allow Mr. Aguilar as much visitation as he likes! Thank Heaven Dutch was able to "escape," though. Dogs just have a sixth sense sometimes.

Made my day to read this!

I know all parties. This story is very sad all the way around. That being said the dog did not just bite the girl. He hospitalized her with multiple wounds and finger having to have surgery. Knowing both parties i know for a fact the dog was not serverally beat. And yes the girl acknowledges that she should have not got in between a dog fight but she didnt want the other dog to get killed. So before everyone puts down the girl , please get your facts straight. I know if this dog would have killed her everyone of you haters would be singing a different tune. Also I find it wrong to explote the fact the owner is a veteran. It has no bearing on the story. Another fact the victim and the dog owner are family. Again this story is sad all around and I feel the judge did the best he could to protect future victims .

Hey RN, it is real easy to sit out there anonymously And make statements that you cannot support. How do you counter the vets report on the condition of Dutch which said he was beaten?
RN said on Friday, Feb 22 at 9:00 PM
All my statements are fact . Like I said I know all parties involved. The judge agrees. I also know exactly what the vet report says. So you better check your facts. Again sad story all the way around.

I don't believe he's exploiting the fact he's a veteran. He served this country during combat, and there is a price to pay for that. The dog helps him get through the day. She made a grave mistake. I do feel bad she was bitten, but it was her own fault. Jeremy, and Dutch shouldn't have to pay for her stupidity.

Hey RN, one of your hang-ups is that this law action is between family members? Why couldn't she keep it in the family and out of the hands of the cops and the know-nothing silk-stocking powdered wiggers? With a woman in his family like that, who needs suicide bombers? He was safer in Iraq.

RN- Yes it's sad all the way around, however killing Dutch is not the answer. For you to say this dog would have killed her is over the top; if he had intended that it would have happened...if you believe what you wrote why in the world didn't you insist she not watch the dog. Yes sad but as said before no reason to kill the dog. By the way I did read the vet report and she admitts "hitting" the dog.

RN is just a sick person with nothing to do but post fictitious blogs. He or She has not written a single word that would prove they were who they were. Anyone can make those statements. Put up or shut up.
