Open House for Dominguez-Escalante Management Plan
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - If you want to weigh in on how to conserve the Dominguez-Escalante area, the Bureau of Land Management wants to hear from you. Monday, they're hosting an open house to discuss their draft resource plan for the conservation area that encompasses 210,000 acres of land in Mesa, Delta and Montrose counties. BLM employees will be present to answer any questions the public may have concerning the plan. The open house is Monday from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Colorado Mesa University Center. Parking is free. A second open house will be Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Bill Heddles Recreation Center in Delta. For more details visit www.blm.gov.
