Single-Vehicle Crash Shuts Down Portion of Riverside Parkway

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. On Saturday morning a one-vehicle accident shut down a portion of Riverside Parkway going eastbound near Ninth Street for nearly an hour.

The crash was reported just before 11 a.m. Grand Junction police and fire officials responded.

Officials say the woman who was driving the vehicle overcorrected her pick-up truck and lost control.

Authorities say alcohol was not a factor in the crash, but they have not confirmed whether her speed was.
