GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - An "old" business is getting some new improvements.
Old Chicago is now under the new ownership of CraftWorks and is changing their brand, menu and design.
The company says they want to focus more on beer and pizza -- two of the key ingredients that made the original restaurant famous.
"We've changed, added and reengineered just about anything we possibly could. We're getting back into the basics of homemade stuff again," said Monica Etcheverry, general manager for Old Chicago on North Avenue.
Menu changes include a new saute station, pizza dough that is made fresh every day, healthier salads and six new tap handles.
The restaurant is also unveiling a new draft system with 36 rotating taps and a "beer guide."
Officials say they plan on hosting brewery events throughout the year.
Hours of operation will remain the same, as well as general prices, officials say.
