Office Closures in Observance of Columbus Day

DENVER- In observance of Columbus Day, many state offices will be closed on Monday, Oct. 8.

State driver's license offices, the Department of Public Health and Environment's vital records office, Division of Wildlife service centers and administrative offices for executive branch departments will be closed.

All Colorado State Parks will be open, but administrative offices and visitors centers will be closed.

State troopers will be patrolling the highways and Department of Transportation maintenance crews will be working as necessary.

The Grand Junction VA Medical Center's emergency room will be open on Monday.

All other clinics will be closed through the holiday weekend, including the pharmacy and satellite clinics in Craig, Glenwood Springs, Montrose and Moab.
