Obama Supporters Get Out the Vote During RNC

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Supporters of President Barack Obama were on the phone lines during the Republican National Convention to make sure their message is spread.

The former chair of the Mesa County Democratic Party, Martell Daniels, said this is an important time.

"Colorado's a swing state, and even though we may not have as many Democratic or independent or Republican voters to support him on the Western Slope, we certainly need to make sure we get out the vote," said Daniels.

Daniels also said she thinks health care and the current services available to women will play a key role in the upcoming election.
