New Year's Eve Events, Top Notch

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- It's generally the mentality to bring in the new year on a high note, something fun that will be memorable, so NewsChannel 5 did some investigating to see what events will be going on prior to ringing in the new year.

One local place to stop by is the Rocky Mountain Pub Bar and Grille, located on 539 Colorado Ave. The pub will have a balloon release with specials inside the balloons, and a champagne toast.

"It's a good night, it really is. Friends get together and we all have fun," said Connie Frei, owner.

Several other bars and restaurants will be holding New Year's Eve events, with taxi specials and one even helping charity.
