DENVER(AP)- Colorado lawmakers created a new committee to work out laws for regulating marijuana.

A joint committee of Senators and House members were chosen to take up the looming marijuana regulation bill.

The 10 lawmakers will debate how state-sanctioned marijuana should be grown, taxed and sold.

The panel will also debate ways to prevent negative consequences of marijuana legalization, including ways to keep the drug from children.

Hey another useless level of government. We can't be bothered with following the constitution regarding gun ownership, or be bothered with Megans Law, but we can certainly spend the time with legalizing dope. How embarrassing. Our legislature should be ashamed.
