Naturita Library Awarded National Medal for Museum and Library Service

WASHINGTON- The Naturita Community Library receives national recognition.

The White House presented the library with the National Medal for Museum and Library Service.

It is the highest honor given to museums and libraries for their outstanding achievements in making a difference for individuals, families and communities.

U.S. Senator Mark Udall stated that the Naturita Community Library was a well deserving recipient of the medal, based on its services, focusing on early literacy, parenting, continuing education, computer literacy and workforce development .
