National Unemployment Drops

by KREX News Room
by Jordan Sherman

WASHINGTON, D.C.- The latest reports from Wall Street. The Government says employers added 236,000 jobs in February, more than the the forecast 160,000 economists originally.

Economists say the unemployment rate falling to 7.7% from 7.9% is the lowest it's been since 2009.

Officials say almost every industry is hiring from manufacturing to health care, however, the largest gains were in construction thanks to economic recovery in the housing market.

However, economists worry the sequester may have an impact on the March unemployment rate as the sequester will cut $85 billion in funding, potentially leading to the loss of hundreds of thousands of jobs.

Economists say 250,000 new jobs are needed every month to significantly reduce unemployment.

Gotta love the phony cooked up numbers brought to you by the Obama administration, and his buddies in the media. I for one will not believe anything until the liar and cheif is out of office.

Did the bad economy start before Obama or after? If before, where do we place blame? How about the state economy? Was the economy going sour before or after we had a Democratic governor and a Democratic controlled legislature? If before, then where do we place blame? The local economy is another story and really has nothing to do with being Democrat, Republican, Liberal, or Conservative. The national and state economies could be doing great, yet our local economy will still be floundering.

Compare the U-3 and U-6 numbers from the BLS and.. The real employment rate is closer to 60 percent.
