GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- A local artist dedicates his talents to the Grand Junction VA Medical Center.

Muralist Lee Bowerman's 40-foot wall piece is dedicated to America's military men and women.

The mural covers the top third of the wall in the Medical Center's Canteen.

The piece covers the history of the five armed services, from 1776 to present.

A few of these include the American Revolution, Civil War, Vietnam and a helicopter rescue by the Coast Guard.
