All Lanes Reopen After Mudslides Temporarily Close I-70
PALISADE, Colo. A mudslide temporarily closes Interstate 70 in both directions at mile 46, the Palisade exit, around 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Crews were able to quickly clear and open the westbound lanes at Palisade. Eastbound traffic was stalled for several hours while crews cleaned the interstate up to mile marker 53 due to several mudslides. All lanes on I-70 were reopened by 10:02 p.m.
