Motorcycle,Truck Accident Leaves 1 Dead on Highway 65

An accident involving a truck and a motorcycle left one man dead Saturday evening.

Officials with Colorado State Patrol say the accident happened just before 6:45 p.m. on Highway 65 near mile marker 4.5.

Authorities have not yet released how the incident happened, but say the male driver of the motorcycle died on scene. It is believed the male driver of the truck sustained minor injuries.

The accident is still under investigation, although drug, alcohol and speed are not considered factors in the crash. NewsChannel 5 will continue to update this story as details become available.
