Morning Accident Sends Woman to Hospital

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- One woman was transported to the hospital after two cars collided off of First Street and Grand Avenue around 10 a.m. Friday.

Police say a man driving an SUV was in the intersection waiting to make a turn, when the light switched to green for oncoming traffic.

According to authorities, another vehicle T-boned the SUV in the intersection.

A female passenger in the SUV was sent to the hospital with minor injuries.

Traffic in the area was backed up while authorities cleaned up the crash.

Police are still investigating, and at last report, no charges have been made.
