COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.- President Barack Obama arrived in Colorado Friday to get a firsthand look at the state's massive wildfire damage.

Crews battling the Waldo Canyon Fire are burning dry areas along the fire's perimeter to keep the flames from spreading.

As of Friday, the fire had scorched more than 17,000 acres, and a second body had been found in a burned out house.

More than 300 homes have been lost to the blaze.

During his visit to Colorado, President Obama declared the fires a major disaster and promised federal aid to the state.

It is evident that Achorman doesn't understand the working of Congress and how the Republicans blocked everything tried to help the U.S. If Romney is elected we can get on our computers to start calling him names-there will be cause to do so. Remember Bushes mess??

This amateur pino has demonstrated he has no shame or conscience in his re-election campaign, and yesterday's state visit was no different. During his address, Obummer referred to Colorado's swing-state status, and he was flanked by U.S. Senators Udell and Bennett, neither of whom to this point has even visited any of the Colorado fire sites. Once again, our sock-puppet pino tried not to let a good crisis go to waste for his own personal gain. How many people are also aware it was Obummer's pen that reduced by half the budget for the U.S. Forest Service's fire-fighting equipment two years ago. Hence, the slow re-action time of equipment and labor for Colorado's initial major fores fires this month. Much of our loss could have been eliminated had it not been for this empty suit in the Party House, formerly our White House.
