MESA COUNTY, Colo.- The Mesa County Workforce Center is once again sponsoring its annual Jump Start Job Fair on Tuesday, Feb. 5.

According to workforce officials, they're seeing even greater interest this year from businesses looking to hire.

Tuesday's fair will have the highest number of actively-hiring employers in years, with more than 40 businesses committed to attend.

Workforce officials say because of Mesa County’s continued competitive job market and unemployment rate, which is higher than the state and national averages, they're encouraging all job seekers to come to the event, well-prepared, with appropriate dress and many copies of their resume.

The job fair takes place Tuesday (2/5) at the Doubletree by Hilton in Grand Junction, located at 743 Horizon Drive.

It goes from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

For more information, you can call Suzie Miller of the Workforce Center at (970) 257-2206, or email her at: suzannemiller@mesacounty.us.
