Montrose Man Arrested on Child Porn Charges

MONTROSE COUNTY, Colo. - A Montrose man is arrested by the FBI for allegedly possessing child pornography.

According to a criminal complaint, filed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, 32-year-old David Roesener was taken into custody at his home, after a year-long undercover operation.

The report alleges that Roesener was trading photos of young boys, online.

A search warrant found 277 pictures and 23 videos on Roesener's computer, who admitted to trading child pornography online.

Of the images found, 85 of them were previously identified through the national center for missing and exploited children.

Roesener is facing separate charges of possession and distribution of child pornography. He was booked into the Mesa County Jail without bond.
