Montrose County Sheriff's Office Gets New Military Vehicle

by KREX News Room
by Daniel Phillips

MONTROSE, Colo.- The Humvee was donated by a federal program that donates overstocked military vehicles to local law enforcement and fire departments

The new Humvee will give the sheriff's office access to more extreme terrain and will be used to help the special response team.

Montrose Auto Body donated time and equipment to help transform the Humvee to have all of the Montrose County Sheriff's Office markings on it.

The entire project only costed the agency $1,000.
