MONTROSE, Colo. - On Saturday, the first ever Black Canyon Hunt and Outdoor Expo will take place in Montrose.
Organizers say it's the first expo of it's kind on the Western Slope.
There will be animal calling contests, seminars and hands on activities for kids.
Event planners say they hope this helps residents see just how many outdoor options there are in Western Colorado.
The expo is February 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
It's being held at the Montrose County Fairgrounds. Admission is free.
