Moffat County Gets Ready For Hot Air Balloon Festival

CRAIG, Colo.- Moffat County kicks off its hot air balloon festival on Saturday.

Balloon crews plan on taking off at 6 a.m.

The festival continues throughout the day with a community pancake breakfast, tours through the Air and Space Museum, helicopter rides and a beer garden.

From noon to 1:30 p.m. judges will be choosing the best of the best in chicken, ribs, pork and brisket barbecue.

To end Saturday night, The Fab 4 will be performing from 7-8:30 p.m.

A balloon glow will also be featured at dusk.

The festival continues on Sunday, with a balloon launch starting at 6 a.m.

A balloon awards ceremony wraps up the festival at 9 a.m.
