GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- With election day just a month away it's still not too late to register to vote, but time is running out. Coloradans have until midnight to get it done.

Tuesday is the last day to register to vote for the election.

Officials from the Mesa County Elections Office say it's important to get as many folks registered to vote as possible, and say it's been successful the last couple of weeks.

"Even in the small ones, your voice counts. Not too long ago we had a tied race in Fruita for the recreation center question. Whether it's a local and small election, it is just as important as a big, presidential election," explained Mesa County Clerk and Recorder Sheila Reiner.

The Mesa County Elections Office will be open Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The office is located at 200 S. Spruce St. in Grand Junction.

Interested voters can also register online until midnight, at GoVoteColorado
