Mesa County Officials Host State of the County

Grand Junction - Mesa County commissioners held their State of the County address Wednesday morning, and transportation is at the top of their list when it comes to improving our community. Commissioner Craig Meis addressed residents about what's happening in the county.

Some of the changes they're working on include online services and a better use of the Grand Valley Transit System.

Meis says that one of the best ways to affect our community is through upgrading our roads and modes of travel. "Transportation in our community, I think long term, that's going to be a huge benefit to our citizens and our community from commuting to recreating within our Valley," Meis said.
