Mesa County Democrats React to President Obama's Re-Election

by KREX News Room
by Danielle Kreutter

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- President Obama was re-elected Tuesday night, and NewsChannel 5 spoke with the co-chair of the Mesa County Democrats to get his reaction.

"I'm feeling like the work paid off; we did a lot of canvassing and a lot of work to try to get this president re-elected, and we're glad to see it's over," said Castleton.

When asked what this would mean for Mesa County, Castleton said, "I'm hoping that we'll see more teachers in classrooms. I'm hoping we sure up social security and how those things are paid and Medicare, and I look for the full implementation of Obamacare."

Now that O is in for another 4, plans to expand my business and hire 5 more people are shelved. With the certain tax increases and regulations on the way I will not take the risk. So, all you proud Obama voters, that's 5 more in the unemployment line. Maybe you can spend your new-found spare time smoking pot.

Obamacare lives and pot gets approved by the voters! Now that Colorado is a true blue state, hopefully we will not see national political ads in 2016.

Part of the problem is that the media has given Barry a pass. Ask the average joe six-pack about Benghazi and you get a shoulder shrug. The only thing positive that has came out of the last 4 years is the trust of the media is at an all time low, statistically lower than Congress!

These people have NO idea how the government gets all this money they plan to spend. The public schools have been successful in dumbing down the average citizen. They really believe that the government can solve all our problems. The balance has tipped. At least 50% of the people in this country are so dumb they believe more government is a good thing. Thousands of small businesses will go down and unemployment will rocket. But HEY we will have an inefficient, poorly run, lousy health care system run by a government that has never been successful running anything. We are so screwed.
