GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The Mesa County Central Library opened it's temporary location Monday Morning at First Street and Gunnison Avenue.

The library's permanent location on Grand Avenue is closed for renovations.

So far patrons and management alike are happy with the move.

"There are areas we would need for shelves, areas that would for sitting, or for computer use, or a place for people to just sit and read a book in this building," said Bob Kretschman, Public Information Manager for the Mesa County Libraries.

"It's miraculous. I couldn't hardly believe it when I walked in. How did they do this? This looks like not a temporary location but a real location that could be permanent," said long time patron Judi Sammons.

The completion of the library renovation is expected in the Spring of 2013.
