Marching Bands to Compete in Grand Junction

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Marching bands will be booming in Grand Junction for the 35th annual Colorado West Marching Band Festival.

More than a dozen high school marching bands from throughout the Grand Valley will be performing and competing this Saturday, Oct. 6.

They will start with a parade in downtown Grand Junction on Main Street at 10 a.m.

The parade is free for the public to enjoy.

The bands will then take Stocker Stadium by storm for their competition at 12:30 p.m.

To attend the competition portion, it's $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
