Bebb-Jones Trial Pushed Back

GARFIELD COUNTY, Colo.- The trial for Marcus Bebb-Jones, the man accused of murdering his wife on the Western Slope, has been pushed back to give his defense more time to look over evidence.

The 48-year-old's trial was set for next Tuesday, but officials say the six-week trial will now begin April 1.

They say the defense needed more time to evaluate and test physical evidence.

Bebb-Jones reported his wife Sabrina missing in 1997; at the time, the couple owned a hotel in Grand Junction.

In 2004, a Garfield County rancher found her skull in a remote wooded area on Douglas Pass.

Bebb-Jones had returned to his native country of England; he was extradited back to Garfield County in February of last year.
