Man in Custody After Allegedly Robbing Papa Johns

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - A man has been taken into custody after allegedly robbing the Papa Johns on 1310 North Avenue around 11:30 Thursday night.

Thomas Blackmon, 51, was taking into custody after police received a call saying that a male had threatened employees with a weapon before demanding, and leaving, with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers say they saw Blackmon running from the area and he was later found hiding behind a house on Glenwood Avenue.
