Man Found Bleeding to Death in Colo. Springs Alley

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Authorities are investigating after a man was found bleeding to death in a Colorado Springs alley.

The Gazette reports the 55-year-old man, whose name has not been released, was found unconscious but breathing in the alley near downtown just before 7 p.m. Saturday. He was pronounced dead at a hospital 20 minutes later.

Police say the death is "suspicious,'' but they did not release any other details.

Investigators did not describe the nature of the man's wounds.
