Man Allegedly Robs North Avenue's Papa John's

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo- Grand Junction's Papa John's was robbed late Thursday night.

Grand Junction Police arrested Thomas Blackmon, 51, for allegedly robbing the business on North Avenue.

Grand Junction Police received a call around 11:30 p.m. saying that a male had threatened employees with a weapon before demanding and leaving the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers saw Blackmon running from the area and he was later found hiding behind a house on Glenwood Avenue.
